I am almost always disappointed in how elitist, opaque and institutionalised most of academia is for the common public.

Bettering a society relies on the common sense
Common sense is built on accessible, correct and easy consumption of information
The method of diseemination, therefore, determines how effective this consumption can be
How do I take something commonly around us and subvert it to hold your attention? AND make you think while at it?

Fish-market visits were a recurring part of my childhood.
Struck by how plainly visual metaphors could be fished out from these markets, this visual series. builds on 6 everyday discriminatory biases.
Photographs superimposed with oil paints and illustrative details, the project dives into Sex, Gender, Color, Race, Caste and Class.
