I AM CURIOUSER
THAN MY CAT

-  BEING UPDATED  -

Utterly curious about how our thinking is shaped by the visual world, my passion in deconstructing visual cultures form a critical transdisciplinary lens to behavioral science which informs my praxis.
Key research themes :
//  Centering the Global South’s design by building vocabulary
//  Democraticisation of academia through visual frameworks
//  Experimental pedagogy

Visual design is the subject of the eye. And the eye is a mirror subjected to the law of direct proportionality. The more you see something, higher its validity. The less you see, more obscurity, or worse, rejection.
Metaphorically, like today’s punishing algorithms of social media accounts: Eurocentric design thinking and positioning got more views, in return more propagation.
The institutionalisation of design, which is strictly Eurocentric in it’s absolute truth & dissemination, needs to revisited to speculate different tomorrows.
We need to ponder over the ‘expert’ opinions, principles, knowledge and practices of our visual culture.

The attempt is to not discard but incorporate more worldviews.
